Tickets for the Illinois State Fair have been on sale for about a month, so you'd think they'd already have all their headlining acts announced and good to go. But the Illinois State Fair decided to pull a Columbo on us and say, "Just one more thing..." and announce a new headliner and opening act.

Two one time Breakthrough Artists will be sharing a night at the state fair on Tuesday August 14th, with Ashley McBryde opening for 2017 CMA Best New Artist nominee Luke Combs, who has already notched two #1 singles with "Hurricane" and "When It Rains it Pours," and his current single "One Number Away" sitting at #5. The two join the previously announced Brett Eldredge on Friday, August 17th and Brantley Gilbert on Sunday, August 19th.

I love both these artists, so I may have to take Wednesday the 15th off work, so I can go to Springfield and catch this show. For more info, or to get tickets, head to the Illinois State Fair website.
