Now that gardens are coming on strong, Hannibal has added another day to its Farmers Market season.

The Central Park Farmers Market is now open on Tuesdays from 3-7 p.m.  That's in addition to the regular hours of 7:30 a.m. until noon on Saturdays.

The Farmers Market at Hannibal's Central Park on Broadway draws a wide variety of vendors. You'll find an assortment of locally grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, plants and fresh eggs. Other vendors offer other homemade items like jelly, goat milk soap, peanut butter, coffee and even masks.

"We appreciate all the customers' support," said Central Park Farmers Market Manager Steve Huse. "Our market is growing and we want to be the best market we can be. This year has been challenging but we are welcoming new vendors back every week."

Yoga is offered in the park on Saturdays at 9 a.m. and Barre fitness at 10:15. Musicians often perform to provide entertainment during the Farmers Market.
