I remember it like it was yesterday, on the evening of November 2nd, 2016 the Chicago Cubs beat the then-Cleveland Indians (now Guardians) to win their first World Series in 108 years, which was the longest championship drought in American sports history.

If you are feeling nostalgic about that glorious day in Cubs history good news! You can watch the entire Game 7 victory on YouTube.

The video is over 4 hours and 20 minutes long and includes the post-game celebrations and interviews. The entire rain delay is not included, however.

Where were you Cubs fans when they won? I was living about a 10-minute walk from Wrigley Field, near the corner of Belmont and Broadway in Chicago. As soon as Rizzo caught the ball from Bryant I can remember hearing the city erupt with noise. After some screaming, and a beer chug, I went outside my apartment and started walking with people to Wrigley. It was the largest crowd of people I have ever seen in my life, Clark street was packed from Addison all the way to Belmont. I remember calling my mom, talking about how we wished my grandpa was still alive to see this magical moment, the loveable losers were losers no more. It was a really special day, and hopefully for us Cubs fans, we can do it again soon!
