2017 Dogwood Parade Theme Announced

The 48th Annual Dogwood Festival is only two and a half months away. If it were Christmas, we'd be seeing decorations in stores already. I know I've already got my Dogwood tree up and decorated. HEY! Speaking of decorating things, registration for the Dogwood parade opens up on February 28th. See what I did there? They don't call me the King of Segues for nothing.

This year's theme of the Dogwood Parade is "Community Connections." According to a press release from the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce, "Parade participants are encouraged to use the theme to show how their businesses and organizations are connected to their clients/members, connected to Quincy, and connected to the world."

All the usual fun events of the Dogwood Weekend will be there, including the pageant, the Dogwood Dance, and various entertainment around Washington park.
