I would love to see a Bigfoot and I'm guessing there's at least a chance you'd love to see one, too. If you answer "yes" to that proposition, it appears you can go on a group Bigfoot hunt in Missouri soon if you're brave enough.

Note: this is not a "hunt" per se, but really more of an expedition. You're not gonna be allowed to try and down a Bigfoot.

I must confess that I learned of this Bigfoot expedition kind of by accident. Since I regularly check the Bigfoot Research Organization website for new sightings (because who doesn't?), I came across a page called Missouri Expedition 2022. I don't want to get this wrong, so here's the exact description of a group Bigfoot/Mo-Mo/Sasquatch (depending on your preferred monster name):

BFRO organizers bring participants to areas where they will have encounters with Bigfoots at night. The odds of success depend on their selection of locations...so the BFRO selects organizers who have the most information in a given state, and who have experience organizing trips there.

BFRO organizers Larry Newman and Ron Boles will be leading the 2022 trip.

The Missouri Ozarks have a long history of sightings, etc. The terrain is similar to the terrain in southeastern Oklahoma -- lots of deer supported by copious amounts of acorns from hardwood forests.

The dates chosen for this expedition will mean the leaves are falling, which will create more visibility and crunchy leaf litter on the forest floor. This will help alert the group to anything animals approaching or stalking around a camp at night.

When will the Missouri Bigfoot expedition be?

Thursday, October 20, 2022 through Sunday, October 23, 2022

How much will it cost?

It depends. The frequently asked question page mentions fees between $300 and $500.

What else should I know prior to seeking out Sasquatch?

You have to provide your own transportation, food and be able to send and receive emails for private correspondence according to the official website. You also can't bring pets or weapons.

For specifics if you're really interested, I'd recommend you contact the group directly. Their email is on the official website.
