With high school football in Missouri in the process of figuring out this year’s state champions, it comes to mind which school currently has the most former students/players on NFL rosters?

One Missouri high school has three former students on NFL rosters. That’s the most from the state. Lee’s Summit High School has produced NFL caliber players over the last 100 years. In the 1920’s, 50’s, 80’s and now.

The players on NFL rosters now from Lee’s Summit High are:

Drew Lock – Graduated from Lee’s Summit High in 2015 attending Mizzou for college, passing for 99 touchdowns and  over 12,000 yards in four years. Lock was taken in the 2nd  round of the NFL draft in 2019 with the 42nd overall pick by the Denver Broncos. He was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2022. The signing with the New York Giants in 2024.

Feliz Anudike-Uzomah – Graduated from Lee’s Summit High in 2020 attending Kansas State University for college. He was a first-round draft choice by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023 and already has a Super Bowl ring playing defensive end.

Mitchell Tinsley – Tinsley graduated from Lee’s Summit High In 2018 after only playing one year of football. He continued building his skills at Hutchinson, Kansas Community College in 2018-19 then transferring to Western Kentucky for the 2020-21 seasons. He finished up college at Penn State in 2022 and went un-drafted. The Washington Commanders signed him to their practice squad this past August before the season.
