The Missouri Location You’re Most Likely to Run into a Celebrity
There are plenty of famous people from Missouri. Brad Pitt, Jon Hamm, James Gunn, or Ellie Kemper, Joe Buck, Jenna Fischer, Nelly, Andy Cohen or John Goodman. Most no longer live in the Show-Me State full time, but you can still spot them. And there is one place in Missouri that you are more likely to find celebs than any other location.

You might think lingering around Plaza Frontenac in St. Louis would be a good bet, and it’s not a bad one. The mall in St. Louis whose hubs are Nieman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue with mall stores like Gucci and Louis Vuitton could very well give you a chance to see a celeb in the wild.
On the west side of the state, you might run into some celebs at Country Club Plaza – specifically “Prime Social” the rooftop bar is a place that many a celebrity has been seen in Kansas City.
Neither of those places is the most likely place to see celebs in the wild in Missouri. The odds on favorite to spy celebrities in the Show-Me State is Branson. Seriously. I’d forgive you if you thought Lake of the Ozarks. The hotbed of warm weather fun is centrally located for easy access from both sides of the state. But in the Branson area you also have Big Cedar Lodge and everything that happens around it. These events draw high profile athletes and musicians, not just from (or playing in) Missouri, but from across the country. Just remember, seeing a celeb in the wild doesn’t give you the green light to approach them. You have a phone and can slyly snap a pic. Don’t force interaction.
