WANTED – Dangerous Child Sex Offender Escaped Missouri Hospital
A convicted child sex offender somehow escaped a Missouri hospital early this morning and is now on the run and considered very dangerous.
I first saw this terrible news shared by Fox News. It's a bulletin shared by the St. Louis County Police Department on their Facebook page earlier today regarding Tommy Wayne Boyd. He's a 45-year-old convicted child sex offender who was serving a 30-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections for statutory sodomy.
According to their bulletin, he was "transported to Mercy Hospital South from the Potosi Correctional Facility on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 for treatment". In the early morning hours, he casually walked out of the hospital even though he had two guards watching over him.
The bulletin added this detail:
