Raise your hand if you serve cranberries in the shape of a can every year. Yes, my family was a part of that tradition. But recently I found a recipe that is quick, easy, and much better tasing than the "can."

I want you to try this, even if you are not a fan of cranberries at Thanksgiving. Once you take a bite of turkey combined with this recipe for cranberries, you'll wonder where this flavor combination has been all of your life.

Take 1-cup of water and 1-cup of sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add one 12-ounce bag of Ocean Spray Cranberries, and return to a boil. Reduce heat, and continue to boil for 10-minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour sauce into bowl, cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until serving time. Makes 2 1/4 cups.

Cranberries by themselves are not the most appetizing things in the world. They are kind of tart. But when combined with a piece of turkey, the flavors are very complimentary.

Tomorrow: Green Bean Casserole
