I am not the best picker in the world. Frankly, I am pretty bad. For the most part I use my gut in determining my picks, and so far my gut has not done me well. Before yesterday’s games I was at just under 50%. I probably could do better by posting pictures of the teams on my office wall and throwing darts.

Last week in the Pro Football Challenge I came in last place amongst my fellow 'Squares (Townsquare Media employees) with a record of 6-10. I vowed to come back with a vengeance. Friday morning I would make my picks and redeem myself.

One country legend will replace another as the Charlie Daniels Band takes a turn at opening up 'Monday Night Football' on ESPN next week. Daniels has reworked 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia' for the broadcast's opening theme. It appears to be a one game only engagement.
