Breweries are popping up all over the country, and brewery tours are becoming a must-do for beer lovers. And it is no surprise to me that one of the Best brewery tours in the entire US is right here in the Land of Lincoln.

Many Chicago Bears fans are still taking in that loss from the weekend in which kicker Cory Parkey missed a 43-yard field goal that would have sealed a Chicago victory (it was tipped, by the way). Well if you think you can do better, you could win yourself a year worth of beer.

Flying around my neck of the Facebook today is an article from Thrillist about the "Official State Beers" from all 50 states, declaring a beer brewed in each state to be the official beer of said state, much like a state bird or song. I wholly agree with some of their choices, like Kansas' Buffalo Sweat from Tallgrass Brewing, and mostly agree with Michigan's Oberon from Bell's Brewery..
