A Quincy man was in federal court Tuesday to face meth related charges.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for Central Illinois reports 39 year old Robert Tallent was in federal court in Springfield on a charge of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

The complaint against Tallent alleges he was in possession of about 19 grams of meth when he was pulled over by Quincy Police March 13th on an outstanding Adams County warrant for possession of meth.

Tallent was taken into custody by the FBI at his home in Quincy early Saturday morning.
