After filing bankruptcy twice in less than a year, CNN is reporting that a major fabrics and craft store will close 500 of its 800 locations including the Quincy locations.

JoAnn Fabrics Set to Close in Quincy

Sadly, the Quincy location is part of the 500 locations set to close soon. According to CNN,

In its second bankruptcy filing last month, Joann blamed inventory issues that were “acute and unexpected.”

There is no word yet on when the last day of business will be for the popular fabric store, but if I had to guess by the end of the year all 500 locations will be closed. 25 locations total in Illinois and 7 locations in Missouri are set to close.
