According to the experts now is the perfect time to visit Missouri before the hot & humid weather arrives.

We all know that Midwest weather is on the way and now is the time to take an outdoor adventure to the Show-Me State, and the experts at Love Exploring agree. They say June is the perfect month to visit Missouri for hiking, biking, swimming, and anything outdoor-related.

There are also so many BBQ festivals, live music concerts, and festivals to enjoy during June. It seems as soon as the month turns in July Mother Nature turns out the heat on us.

Kansas City has more than 100 barbecue restaurants, as well as festivals dedicated to the cuisine.

I have to agree getting outdoors now is the perfect time to plan a visit. Going to either zoon in St. Louis and Kansas City, enjoying a baseball game, and the lake now really is the perfect time to get out and enjoy Missouri.

We've been lucky with the weather so far (technically it's not summer yet) so enjoy these mild temps because the 100-plus temps and the heat index are coming, and that's when you will find me indoors.
