The "Music With a Mission" concert will be back at the Adams County Fairgrounds for the second year in 2015, and will feature the likes of Cadillac Three, Madd Hoss Jackson and Avenue Beat.

This years show, again a benefit for the music program at Mendon Schools, will also feature Trailer Choir and Highway Run. Advance tickets are $20 apiece. For a limited time, you can by three and get one free online at Tempotickets.com. Tickets will be $30 at the gate the day of the show, May 30, 2015. Tickets are also available at:

  • TNT Action Sports
  • Ted's Shirt Shack
  • Gem City Gymnastics
  • Vancil Performing Arts Center

The purpose of "Music With a Mission," is to help support school programs that are facing cuts or elimination, through concerts rather than traditional fundraising efforts. The effort was spearheaded last year by Vinny Hickerson of the band Trailer Choir, who had a hit country song in 2009 with 'Rockin The Beer Gut.' Funds from this years concert will also help the Six String Heroes program.

Local and regional acts like Madd Hoss Jackson and Avenue Beat will play alongside national acts Cadillac Three and Trailer Choir, to bring a fun variety of music and local interest to the show, aside from the fact that the show benefits a local school district. Madd Hoss Jackson is immersed in playing Nashville showcases, hot on the heels of a record deal, while Avenue Beat just won the "Rising Star Award" from Nashville Universe.

Further information will be made available in the weeks ahead so be sure to check back here for updates.
