Historical Missouri Treasure in St. Louis Keeps Delivering
For over 100 years in the heart of St. Louis there’s a special treat that keeps bringing special moments year after year, show after show. If you haven’t experienced the Muny in Forest Park, make a promise to yourself to get there.
This is your target destination
The oldest and largest outdoor musical theater in the United States stands in the middle of Forest Park welcoming all who have wanted to be entertained since the early 1900s.

Growing up in the St. Louis area afforded opportunities to attend as a student via field trips, and also as a customer and fan to see the talent on stage. Many times, when shows are sold out, people will just sit on the grass and listen to the show and sing along.
Egad! Forest Park is lousy with roundabouts! - You'll be fine...
If you are a fan of the theater I can’t think of a better way to spend an evening under the stars being dazzled by the talent singing, dancing, acting and emoting on stage. The 2025 season has just kicked off and a summer of memories is about to made. You may have seen shows at the Fox or the Peabody in St. Louis. There is nothing like the Muny.
