Marion County Reports First COVID-19 Death

Marion County has its first COVID-19 related death.

The Marion County Health Department made the announcement Friday.

Health officials also reported 15 new confirmed cases in the county.

The new COVID cases include six males ages 10 to 90 and nine females ages 20 to 60. All are quarantined at home.

This brings the total number of cases in Marion County to 79, 72 of which are still active.

Also, the Brown County Health Department reported one new case of coronavirus Sunday.

The new positive is a teenager who is recovering at home.

The total number of COVID cases in Brown County now stands at eleven.
