Time and time again, Luke Combs has proven that he knows how to write a hit country song, dominate radio and thrill fans in concert. However, after fellow country star Thomas Rhett tapped him to participate in the viral #DanceOrDonate challenge, the singer admitted that fans probably won't see him answering the call with an onstage dance anytime soon.

"Man, I don't know. I'm not much of a dancer," Combs tells The Boot and other outlets. "I'm working on it for my upcoming nuptials in the next year or so, so I've got enough pressure on me doing that."

The singer got engaged to Nicole Hocking in late 2018. In May, he told People that he and Hocking had yet to seriously dig into the wedding planning process, simply because he was on the road so much.

"We're just crazy busy. Especially this year," Combs said at the time. "We just haven't had any time to sit back and be home for more than three or four days. And it's just a really overwhelming process, doing what we do."

Soon then, presumably, the couple has begun to think about the big day -- if only in terms of sharpening Combs' dancing skills for the occasion.

In the meantime, Combs adds, just because he won't be doing the "dance" portion of the #DanceOrDonate challenge doesn't mean he doesn't plan to participate. The challenge calls on people to either dance for 15 seconds in memory or support of someone battling cancer, or to donate $10 or more to the United Cancer Front.

"So I guess I'm just gonna have to donate," Combs points out. "Which, I think, to me, is a lot better than people seeing my horrible dance moves."
