List of Local County Fairs That Have Cancelled

COVID-19 has claimed several festivals, concerts, and fairs for the Summer of 2020. Here's a full list of local country fairs that have cancelled due to the Coronavirus.

It's been a hard couple of months for a lot of us, as concerts, festivals and events are being cancelled each week. Those being cancelled lately have been county fairs, and according to the Illinois Department of Agriculture here's a full rundown of known local country fairs that have cancelled for 2020:

• Brown County Fair- Mt. Sterling
• Pike County Fair- Pleasant Hill
• Schuyler County Fair- Rushville
• Illinois State Fair- Springfield
• Morgan County Fair - Jacksonville
• Western Illinois Fair- Griggsville

The only fair left, in the Quincy area, that has not cancelled yet is the Adams County Fair, which takes place in late July thru early August.  I know my family will be disappointed, like many, if the fair board decides to cancel. We will keep you updated as soon as an announcement is made.
