Oh the weather outside is frightful, as the song goes.  Me and a fellow co-worker* had made plans to have lunch with a client and friend of ours, Suzanne Maas from Maas Homes and Garage Company in Liberty. This is one of those meetings that had been planned and cancelled several times over the past couple of months, so I was bound and determined to make this meeting happen. Weather reports this morning said that we were expecting to get a couple of inches of snow with wind gusts up to 50MPH. Well, it was raining at that time, so I figured we would be in the clear. It started snowing before we left the radio station, but I figured that the worst of the weather would happen after we came back.

On to Riverside Smoke House on 3rd St to pick up lunch, which was AWESOME! (thanks, Ken), then on to Five Points. The trip out of town wasn't that bad. Just wet and sloppy.

Coming back was another story...

This was westbound Il. 104, just west of Baldwin Field.

A nice thing about the snow is the beautiful landscape it leaves..
