Legend Says Massive Bones of Giants Buried in Missouri Ozarks

The stories of giants that once walked the Earth are not exclusive to the account of David and Goliath in the Bible. There is a legend that the bones of these mammoth humanoids are buried in the Missouri Ozarks.

The story of giants in Missouri is so prevalent, the History Channel devoted an entire series to the theory that this legend is true. It's called Search For The Lost Giants.

I don't want to spoil the entire episode, but they do find an underwater cave and identify what they believe are large skeletons including a massive skull. The underwater areas even seem to have pictographs on the wall marking...something.

Lake Expo did an article on the subject of giants in the Ozarks a few years ago. Their story involved an Indian mound in Missouri that allegedly had 7 skeletons buried beneath it of gigantic proportions.

The History Channel YouTube channel episode on giants in the Ozarks led to several people in the comments sharing their own eyewitness accounts including this one.

Big Murf - "When I was a child my father took me to the Natural History Museum in NYC. He knew a guy who worked there who knew about giant human bones that were kept in crates in the basement. They were not ever put on display in the museum. They were hidden from public view. But this guy would collect money privately from people to show them the bones. So I saw them myself. They were all separate bones, not together. The skull was huge, dirty and heavy. I was just a kid about 8 years old. I'll never forget !!"

Will there soon be proof that this legend is truth? It's possible as the investigation is ongoing. As of now, there's little doubt that something unusual lies at the bottom of that underwater Ozark cave.
