The Broadway show made its way to Chicago years ago and continues to sell out theaters. As a matter of fact, I was just looking to go again, and I was like, man, they're still selling tickets for like $200 a night. Luckily, I just tripped onto this.

How the Hamilton Chicago Ticket Lottery Works

Broadway in Chicago is offering a minimum of 36 tickets per performance at just $10 each, with up to 2 tickets per winner.

Why Hamilton Offers Discount Tickets

So here's how you can get in. The lottery opens every Friday at 10 and closes the following Thursday at noon. Then, winner notifications are sent on Thursday afternoon, and those selected have two hours to claim those tickets for the CIBC Theater in Chicago. And if you've ever seen the show over at that place, it's beautiful. It is a perfect venue for a Broadway show.

The main reason they're doing this is to make it accessible to fans who can't afford or snag regular-priced tickets. And like I said, those tickets are still expensive.
