St. Louis KFC Worker Shot Because They Ran Out of Corn
There's never a good reason for violence, but this might be the worst example of overreaction ever. A St. Louis KFC worker was shot after telling a customer that they had run out of corn. Terrible.
I first saw this shared by Fox 4 out of Kansas City and also Fox 2 in St. Louis. The incident happened in the 5000 block of Delmar Boulevard in St. Louis which is just north of the Forest Park area.
As the story goes, the suspect pulled up in the drive-thru at the KFC at that location around 6:30pm Monday night. The person allegedly became irate when told that the KFC was "out of corn". The employee went outside to try and speak with the individual and was shot.
According to both reports by the Fox stations, it appears the gunshot wounds the employee suffered are critical, but not life-threatening. At last report, the person is in stable condition which is great news.
The alleged shooter fled the scene and is now being sought for questioning by the St. Louis Metro Police. The description of the person they're looking for is a male between 40 and 50 with a thin build and a beard.
