Newsweek Says These 10 Hospitals are the Best in Missouri

If I were you, I wouldn't take my advice about what Missouri hospital you should trust. Fortunately, you don't have to. Experts that are much smarter than myself have crowned 10 hospitals in Missouri as the best in the state.

The publication I'm referring to is Newsweek. They released their 2024 best in-state hospitals in Missouri list and it's a who's who of medical expertise.

I was not surprised at all to see Barnes-Jewish Hospital ranked as the best in Missouri. If they were to expand this to a national top 10 list, my guess is they would appear there also. That's not to say there's anything wrong with the other 9 Missouri hospitals that received mentions. Not at all. As a matter of fact, there are many other medical facilities in Missouri that easily could have made the top 10, but didn't get included.

Our family has been fortunate to have many accomplished doctors in it both past and present. I unfortunately did not get any of that smart person DNA. Instead, I was given the nickname of "Doc" which is probably better than I deserved.

It's a nice problem to have when your state has more than 10 hospitals that deserve a trophy. That's definitely the situation in Missouri.
