A Brand NEW Theme Park will open in Kansas City in 2026

According to an article from NBC Chicago, the Mattel Adventure Park with multiple Hot Wheels rollercoasters, an official Barbie Beach House, a Thomas the Tank Engine ride, and so much more will be opening in Kansas City, Kansas in 2026.
The article goes on to mention that the family-friendly entertainment destination will be in the Bonner Springs area of Kansas City, and they say "A similar Mattel Adventure Park will open in Glendale, Arizona in late 2024." If you didn't watch the video the big update that I learned from the video is that the park will be an INDOOR park! This means it will be open year-round, and definitely will be a different option than Worlds of Fun, Silver Dollar City, or Six Flags St. Louis, for the people of our area, all of those have a season where they are open and where they are closed. What makes this really exciting is that Mattel just had the biggest movie of the year last year with the Barbie movie, and they have such strong brands for girls and boys, that there will be something for everyone at this adventure park!
