Videos Show the Holiday Train That’s Crossing Illinois Right Now

It's the most wonderful time of the year as the song says and that's especially true if you love trains and the holidays as there's video showing one crossing Illinois right now.

I saw Russell Sharp share several videos of a holiday train that is crossing Illinois right now. It's the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train and it's wonderful.

As of today, Wednesday, November 27, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is just east of the Rockford, Illinois area.

According to the schedule from the official Canadian Pacific Holiday Train site, it will be in Chillicothe, Missouri on Thanksgiving afternoon just after 3pm then Kansas City's Union Station around 6pm then in Joplin, Missouri by Sunday, December 1 in the early afternoon.

If you love the holidays and trains (think Polar Express), it doesn't get much better than this.
