Tiny Missouri Gas Station Just Had a Mystery Powerball Winner

A tiny Missouri gas station has just had something not tiny happen there. There's a mystery Powerball winner that just stopped by there that now has a big prize in their back pocket, but they don't seem to know it yet.

If you're not familiar with that area of Missouri, this station is about as far south as you can go in the state without being in Arkansas. According to the Missouri Lottery, someone stopped by this small convenience store/gas station on Monday, December 15, 2025 and picked up a Powerball ticket that's now worth $50,000. While that's good news for someone, the bad news is this ticket is now listed on Missouri Lottery unclaimed prizes page meaning the person who won has not come forward to claim their winnings.

What's even bigger news than that is the huge Powerball prize has now grown to over $1 billion dollars (yes, billion with a big ole B). While this unclaimed Missouri Powerball prize isn't anywhere close to that, 50 grand is still a huge payday for someone even after taxes are paid. That would more than take care of even a huge list of holiday gift buying. If the tiny Missouri gas station looks familiar and you stopped by there on Monday, better check those tickets.
