Storm Chasers Warn Missouri Faces Tornado Risk Friday

If you want to know when the weather in Missouri is about to become dangerous, pay attention to what the storm chasers have to say. One of the most famous chasers just dropped a warning about severe storm possibilities in Missouri Friday which could include the danger of twisters.

Reed Timmer Extreme Meteorologist has more than 3.6 million followers on social media. He is one of the most recognizable storm chasers who gained fame on reality TV shows and his contributions to national networks. Today, Reed shared some concerning storm development he's watching that could cause trouble for Missouri this Friday.

"A compact upper-low will drop southeast through the Corn Belt and will excite unseasonably strong low-level shear ahead of it across eastern Missouri. We are activating full-blown storm chase mode on the way to my event in Fort Smith on August 1!
The Storm Prediction Center mentions a possible upgrade of #tornado probabilities in eastern Missouri, possibly southern Iowa for tomorrow 4-10 pm."

I was aware that Missouri would have rain possibilities starting late Thursday night throughout the day on Friday, but did not know there could be tornado development as a part of it. What this means is you need to be weather aware at the end of this week and have multiple ways to receive storm warnings from the National Weather Service.
