Thanks to my many friends in Missouri who are alert sky watchers, I often get alerted when something odd is over our heads. That just happened today as a plane possibly linked to the CIA was spotted over southern Missouri and I have a flight tracker path to prove it.

Thanks to Missouri's geographical location in the middle of the United States and the presence of Whiteman Air Force Base, we see our fair share of military planes over the state. Every now and then I'll share info when one of the infamous "doomsday planes" are spotted, but this is something else entirely. The "doomsday plane" fleet will appear on flight trackers that identify the type of plane it is. One of my very attentive friends sent me this today which is some type of military plane, but everything about it is blocked.

Here's the part I can't prove, but the rumor is there have been CIA flights out of Joplin recently and this plane would match that description considering that whoever owns the plane has blocked all of the information from being shared.

I will say that this flight looks similar to another confirmed CIA fight that was spotted a few months ago. That doesn't mean this plane over Missouri necessarily is, but it's an interesting comparison.

There are a few other possibilities as to what type of plane this might be

Since the one fact we know is that it's a business jet, it could be a celebrity trying to mask their travel. Plane ID's can be blocked by private owners that request it, but that's not something I see very often. If nothing else, this was an unusual plane over southern Missouri. We'll likely never know for sure who or what it was.
