I've heard it said that oftentimes the truth is right under your feet. That's never been more true than the rumors that America has created a secret tunnel network under Missouri to hide things. I do have proof that it's true, but it's (probably) not as sinister as you think.

Let's get this out of the way right from the start. Many of the tunnels that are under Missouri are not top secret or even classified. It's a public fact that there are massive tunnel networks under both Kansas City and Springfield, Missouri. Subtropolis near Kansas City is utilized by many companies who store goods in their huge underground space. A truck driver even shared video of a delivery he did to the Springfield Underground.

But there are other tunnels under Missouri that are not so well known...

The rumor that the government has secret areas under Missouri is also provable. In a quiet press release a few years ago, the National Archives announced they were moving records underground to many tunneled facilities and the report says many were in Missouri, too. The exact words from the feds were their records were "stored in man-made limestone caves in Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois".

There are still tunnels that are under Missouri that are not part of the public record though...

Since the government is talking about the tunnels under Missouri we aren't supposed to know about, there are stories from those who claim to have seen them and they've shared maps, too.

It really makes sense when you think about it. Missouri's geology features soft-rock limestone caves which make for easy tunneling and storage, plus the temperature is a constant 65 year round.

Just know there is proof there are tunnels under Missouri...those we know about and those others tell us are secret, but real.
