Most people know that the most famous UFO incident in history happened in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. But, did you know that a major UFO incident happened 6 years before in 1941 in Missouri? Rev. William Huffman from the Red Star Baptist Church was called on April 12, 1941 by a local sheriff as was confirmed by KFVS. There had been an accident and authorities wanted him present to issue Last Rites.

The "accident" had taken place in a rural field near Cape Girardeau, Missouri, but the victims were unlike any he had ever seen. There were 3..."beings" lying on the ground who he was asked to pray over. He also saw a craft that was metallic in a saucer shape.

Southeast Arrow added more details to the story. As soon as the Reverend had completed his task, he was taken aside by mysterious men who had taken over the accident scene. They swore him to secrecy...or else.

There was actually a valid reason for this

The secrecy was necessary as the United States was about to enter World War 2 and national security was a priority for the government.

Reverend William Huffman vowed to never speak publicly about what he witnessed, but there was one problem for the 'Men in Black'. The reverend did tell his familyKFVS said "the story got out through Charlotte Mann who was the Reverend's granddaughter, who began to give accounts of the story".

There are also documents being declassified as part of the United States Government's disclosure on what they know about UFO's that prove the CIA and "other agencies" were active in covering up crashes and incidents like the one on April 12, 1941 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

It will be interesting to see how much more is eventually revealed by authorities about what really happened in a rural field near Cape Girardeau, Missouri in 1941. Perhaps documented facts will prove what family members have been saying all along.
