This is the fanciest place in Missouri that I've ever seen come under an urgent warning about their drinking water, but this is one you'll want to pay attention to.

According to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, the residents that call Discovery Bay home need to boil their water for the foreseeable. According to the bulletin, Fecal Coliform/E.Coli was detected in the water in this beautiful Missouri place. The Environmental Protection Agency says this detection is a problem as it can signal the presence of "disease-causing bacteria, such as those that cause typhoid, dysentery, hepatitis A, and cholera".

For what it's worth, Discovery Bay is one of the more secluded private residential areas in Missouri. It's so ritzy it even has its own private airstrip.

The good news is these urgent boil orders normally don't last long and I would imagine this one would expire within the next 24 to 48 hours. In the meantime, boil that water and don't take a chance on having the nasty bacteria mess up your week.
