I saw this new video share on YouTube by the Law&Crime Network. I'll leave the name of the suspect out of this, but the video is compelling. The alleged perpetrator was reportedly being transported to Lake County Jail in Illinois when he escaped. He allegedly carjacked two people as he was fleeing which is what led to this crazy encounter on the highway.

The video shows him apprehended by Pleasant Prairie police and Kenosha County deputies according to the video description which matches the video watermark.

The episode didn't stop there. The Lake and McHenry County Scanner reported another escape attempt. They report that he has been "charged with attempting to disarm a peace officer, reckless endangering safety, vehicle operator fleeing to elude an officer, operating a vehicle without consent and battery to law enforcement officer."  This bodycam video from one of the deputies at the hospital shows what transpired after he was caught.

The report goes on to say that the man is now being held at the Kenosha County where is bond is over $150,000.
