If you're new to the legend of Zombie Road in Missouri, it's located near Wildwood which is close to the Meramec River. A small little village named Sherman is also nearby. Ghost hunters used to love to do investigations there because of strange voices they would record on their equipment.

Night visits to Zombie Road are off-limits now with no one allowed on what is now a walking trail after dark or before dawn. A $1,000 fine awaits anyone caught there during the night.

There are new reports from the Missouri sub-Reddit of "someone or something" chasing those who are in that area.

I have to wonder if it's law enforcement trying to keep this Missouri trail safe at night and perhaps there's paranoia from those who are aware of the legends of ghosts and attacks?

I'm really not surprised that this trail continues to conjure up 'bad vibes' as that's what Missouri's Zombie Road has been doing since the 1950's when teens would frequent it to party and scare each other. This new twist is just part of one of Missouri's oldest roadway legends.
