I'm scratching my head a little bit on this one. Experts say that this city in Chicago is the best to visit in the off-season, but there's no way I would travel there in the winter.

Chicago. One of the best cities I've ever been to and the most fun in April - October, but once you get into those winter months I'm out. Well, not for the experts at Love Exploring, they say the winter is one of the best times to visit Chicago because the crowds are small and there are several indoor activities to do.

Well, of course, the crowds are small the city is down right cold in winter and has had massive snow storms, and let's talk about that brisk wind you have to deal with too. I don't know how people live there to be honest (although I would live there in a heartbeat).

Why is Chicago so Great to Visit in the Off-Season?

Well, they say,

There’s plenty to keep visitors occupied indoors in stylish Chicago, which endures frigid winters and sweltering summers. Eating at one of its many Michelin-starred restaurants, wandering around art galleries or enjoying some late-night blues, for example. But it’s such a pretty city, that would be shame.

Yes, there are a ton of indoor activities, but you have to walk there I don't know about you but I don't do winter well, and it's my least favorite of all the seasons. Although, if you want to do something in the summer and don't want to deal with crowds, I guess that would be the time to visit Chicago and enjoy what the city has to offer.
