Living the Good Life: Illinois City Named Best in the Nation
Living in Illinois can be expensive, but money aside, there are some amazing places to live in. One ranking put Illinois city in the top 10 best places to live in the nation and I couldn't agree more.
I'm a city girl, so when I go and visit family in cities I feel like I am with my people. Not that I don't like the quiet life too, but there is something about the sounds of a city that just put me at ease. I know it's crazy. Well, one of the cities I love to visit is Chicago, and MSN just places the Windy City as one of the best cities to live in the nation.
Best City to Live in Illinois
Yes, it's expensive, but there are so many things to live in the city. There's plenty of shopping, restaurants, date night options, a tour of a museum, the lake, the river, and I guess the Cubs.
I think that's what I love most about living in a city or visiting, there is ALWAYS something to do. You're not spending your day going to Target or hanging out at Kohl's cause nothing is happening. There just seems to be always an event, festival, concert, or something in Chicago even when it's cold outside.
MSN says Chicago’s placement on the global list is tied to its stability, culture environment, and infrastructure. I feel Quincy has a love/hate relationship with Chicago, but that aside it is a fun city to explore.
