Go ahead and laugh now. I expect you will, but once the chuckling is done, I'd like you to consider what many believe. If you see fallen trees in the woods of Missouri, it might be a Bigfoot fort. There are real theories from many that this might be true. I said "might".

This subject came up again because a guy a few weeks ago decided to adventure in a part of the Missouri woods where there have been sightings of a Sasquatch/Bigfoot/Mo-Mo. He didn't find any large furry ape/men, but did find several places where trees were stacked together curiously.

There are several moments where he sees trees that are in almost a teepee formation.

Here's yet another that has the same type of formation like a tent.

The idea is that when a storm or strong wind knocks a tree or limb down, the limbs will all fall in the same direction. When there are multiple limbs that seem to have been placed with intent to make a shelter, that's when the Bigfoot/Sasquatch theories come into play. Sound funny to you? Don't blame you if it does, but know there are multitudes around the country that are convinced these trees represent evidence of the mythical creature known as Bigfoot.

You might recall we shared the story of a Missouri man who thought he found a Bigfoot fort near the Meramec River a few months ago. The theory is so prevalent that Expedition Bigfoot on the Travel Channel devoted time to the tree fort theory.

Is there any truth to this? At this point, no way to know. I will credit this guy who went exploring with no presupposition. Just a Missouri dude who went exploring in the woods and found interesting things.
