Historic Downtown Hannibal is doing something neat during the holiday season. They have created an "Honor Tree" which will be placed in the Demonstration Garden at the corner of Bird and Main Streets in Hannibal on Saturday, December 8th.

Families are invited to come out and hang a white ornament with the name or names of military past or present.  There is no charge for the ornament, but there is a limit of one per family.

Beginning at 7:15pm on the night of December 8th, guests can receive their ornament, write the name or names on it.  Then, those names will be read aloud and placed on the tree.  Once all the ornaments are in place, the tree will be lit up with red and blue lights making a unique red, white and blue Christmas tribute.
