Here’s an Easter Egg Hunt Your Kids Don’t Want to Miss!
Dive in for a free Easter Egg hunt at the Hannibal YMCA. This is the best of both worlds for kids ages 1-12. It’s a dip in the pool and splashing around for treats at the same time. What fun!
The Easter Egg hunt in the pool is coming up on Sunday, March 21 at the Hannibal YMCA. You do need to register ahead of time. You can do that online by clicking here, or call the Y at 573-221-0586.
For the little guys, the eggs will be floating in the shallow end. Older kids who have passed a swim test can dive in to the deep end to find the sunken eggs. There are two time slots available at 2:00 p.m. or 2:45 p.m. The Hannibal Evening Kiwanis Club is sponsoring the Easter Egg Hunt.
In the meantime, the Hannibal YMCA is expanding its services now that COVID numbers are shrinking. Starting Monday, March 22 the Y is lifting restrictions on child care, group fitness, and program room capacity. Children ages 11 and older will again be allowed in without an adult. The hours have also been expanded:
Monday through Friday 5:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Saturdays 6:15 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sundays 1:15 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The Hannibal YMCA still recommends masks when you’re in the facility, but they are not required when you’re working out.
The Y's Easter Egg Hunt in the pool is one of the more creative ways kids can search out treats. Click here to see where you can hop on over to other Easter Egg hunts in our area.
