Endangered Person Advisory Issued for Monroe City Woman

An Endangered Person Advisory has been issued for a Monroe City woman who may have been the victim of a violent crime.

The Monroe City Police Department issued the advisory for 32 year old Amanda Johnston.
Police report Johnston’s apartment in Monroe City was found burglarized Wednesday, with evidence that she may have been the victim of a violent crime.

Police don’t know when Johnston was seen last. Her vehicle was found abandoned and she does not have a cell phone with her.

Johnston is described as a white female, 5-foot-7, 112 pounds, red hair, hazel eyes and light complexion. A clothing description was not available.
