The Hannibal Jaycees enjoyed a record breaking night with the appearance of Dylan Scott and The Feudin' Hillbillys. According to Trisha O'Cheltree of the Hannibal Jaycees, the attendance of Saturday's concert was the biggest that Tanyard Gardens had ever experienced.

The night was extra special for the Hannibal Jaycees, as it was the inaugural night of the historic Hannibal Riverfront Amphitheater's re-purpose as the Tanyard Gardens main stage.

After hosting many national acts such as Ted Nugent, Survivor, and REO Speedwagon, the Amphitheater sat unused since the flood of '93. According to Mayor Pro Tem Kevin Knickerbocker (in an article in the Hannibal Courier-Post), the purchase of the Amphitheater from the City of Hannibal was a "win-win situation."

According to Hannibal Jaycees President Adrienne Abright (in the same article), it will allow the Jaycees to accommodate larger, national entertainment that require the space that the refurbished amphitheater can provide. This gives the potential to bring more revenue to the City of Hannibal.

Capice will appear on the Tanyard Gardens stage Friday July 6. Saturday the 7th is Throwback Night, with Motley Crucial and Shoot To Thrill performing. There will also be a "Biggest Hair" contest, with a cash prize of $100. A complete schedule of events can be found at this link.
