What was going to be the finale of Gus Macker Basketball in Quincy this year has been postponed.

The Quincy Exchange Club has decided to postpone the event after 29 consecutive years and reschedule the 30th tournament for next year.

The Exchange Club actually decided three years ago that the 2020 edition of the tournament would be its last in Quincy unless some other organization would want to continue it.  That has not happened so the plans were going forward to hold the 30th and final Gus Macker Tournament on May 23 and May 24 until the Coronavirus pandemic occurred.

Rather than just end the long standing event at 29 years, the Exchange Club has decided to hold the 30th and final year next year on May 22 and May 23 of 2021.
