Brothers Osborne Hitch A Ride to Nashville With Quincy Pilot
When it comes to Brothers Osborne and Adams County, the country hitmakers had no choice but to “Stay A Little Longer”.
After their Adams County performance, the guys were scheduled to head back to Nashville to perform alongside Little Big Town for a Sunday evening performance at the historic Ryman Auditorium. Their tour bus had other plans.
After the breakdown, another bus was sent their way, but without a flux capacitor and a Huey Lewis soundtrack, there was no way it was going to get the guys to Nashville in time.
After some late night, last minute travel re-coordinating, brothers T.J. and John Osborne (yes, they are brothers and that is their last name), found their way to Quincy Regional Airport where they were placed in the capable hands of Quincy pilot and fellow singer of country songs, Tim Smith.
“This Sunday has been everything but ordinary. It started with a text message from a buddy and the next thing you know, I am flying country duo, Brothers Osborne, to Nashville because of a broken down bus. Talk about wild,” Smith writes on Facebook.
Looks like Tim got the job done (and he even plugged our friends in Avenue Beat on the ride down) as Brothers Osborne did make it in time for their Ryman performance with Little Big Town.
And though he didn’t get to work out any three-part harmonies with the guys, I’m going to be very disappointed if I don’t hear a Brothers Osborne cover at Tim’s next show!
