2019 Billboard Music Awards are Tonight! Who wins the Country Honors?

Tonight is another chance to celebrate the best and biggest stars all across the the country's top music stations with the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. This year is hosted by the talented Kelly Clarkson, and with performances by the biggest names in music, it will be a can't miss event. The 2019 Billboard Music Awards will air live on NBC at 7pm tonight, so let me share with you my predictions for who will take home the awards in the Country Music categories.

Top Country Male Artist: Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, and Luke Combs are the nominations. I like Luke Combs to take the top prize here. With the success of "Beautiful Crazy" it would only be fitting for him to cap off a year of awards with a win in this category.

Top Country Female Artist: Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, and Carrie Underwood are the nominations. I would be absolutely shocked if it wasn't Kacey Musgraves, it has been here year with the Grammy win for Best Album, she deserves this honor as well.

Top Country Duo/Group:Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, and Old Dominion are the nominations. While they are my least favorite of the nominees I believe Dan + Shay will win this award, they dominated the ACM awards, and I don't imagine they will slow down here.

Top Country Tour: Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, and Shania Twain are the nominations. This is a total toss up in my opinion, so I will just go with who I would personally choose, and that's Luke Bryan. Luke Bryan is a brilliant performer, and still in his prime, no matter who wins this award it will be deserved.

Top Country Song: Kane Brown “Heaven”, Luke Combs “She Got the Best of Me”, Dan + Shay “Speechless”, Dan + Shay “Tequila”, and Bebe Rexha & Florida Georgia Line “Meant to Be” are the nominations. This is a tight race, personally I think Dan + Shay will cancel themselves out of winning and it will go to "Meant to Be" by Bebe Rexha & FGL. Also "Meant to Be" is the only Country song up for Top Radio Song.

Top Country Artist: Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, and Florida Georgia Line are the nominations. I cannot believe Kacey Musgraves isn't nominated or any women for that matter. Given these choices personally I would give it to Luke Combs, but I have a feeling Dan + Shay will here their named called a lot tonight so Ill predict them as the winners.

Top Country Album: Jason Aldean “Rearview Town”, Kane Brown “Kane Brown”, Luke Combs “This One’s For You”, Dan + Shay “Dan + Shay”, and Carrie Underwood “Cry Pretty” are the nominations. All very deserving nominations, but once again I am shocked Kacey Musgraves isn't nominated, personally I think the Top Country Album of the year is Kacey Musgraves "Golden Hour" I'll predict Dan + Shay as the winners, even though given these choices, I'd personally choose Luke Combs.
