2015 is nearly in the history books. Looking ahead, there will be several country music stars that will come through Springfield, Illinois in the first few months of 2016. Tyler Farr, Phil Vassar, Kelsea Ballerini, Frankie Ballard, and even a member of Lady Antebellum on his first tour as a solo artist are on Springfield's concert calendar.

Up first is Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley with The Driver Tour at Boondocks in Springfield on January 23. Special guest Maren Morris will open the show. General admission tickets are $30. VIP tickets which include a meet and greet with Kelley, and several other special perks, are $119. Those under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Phil Vassar will also be at Boondocks in January. The singer/songwriter behind hits like "Just Another Day in Paradise" and "Six-Pack Summer" has performed a few times at Boondocks in the past. Tickets in advance for Phil Vassar are $20 for his concert on January 30.

Kelsea Ballerini was one of CMT's Next Women of Country in 2014. Her debut album made it to the Top 5 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, and her debut single, "Love Me Like You Mean It," went to No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart. Kelsea Ballerini will be at Boondocks on February 6. Tickets are $15 in advance.

Frankie Ballard is performing the day before Valentine's Day at Boondocks. His songs "Helluva Live," "Sunshine & Whiskey" and "Young and Crazy" have all been Top 10 hits. Tickets to see Frankie Ballard February 13 in Springfield are $20 in advance.

Tyler Farr was to perform at Boondocks in November, but the show was postponed to 2016. The current concert date is February 27. Clayton Anderson will open. Tickets are $25 in advance.
