I was a junior in college, just finishing up my Communication Law class, and I walked into my dorm to see one of my roommates crying on the couch. As I went over to find out what was wrong, I noticed what she was watching, and then watched as the second plan hit, and then the towers fall. I fell to my knees and was glued to the TV the rest of the day. The people, the city, the aftermath, the unknown. Throughout the entire day there was one image I will never be able to get out of my head, people jumping out of windows as the towers burned, I will never be able to forget those images.

Classes for that day were canceled and TV's and radios were on everywhere on campus so students could watch at the United States changed forever on that day. I tried calling my family members for days making sure that they were all safe, and thank goodness they were, I was lucky.

I felt so much sadness and grief, and every year all of those feelings and memories come flooding back. So, here we are 19 years later remembering those who dies that day, remembering the events of the day, and never forgetting that the USA changed forever that morning. Always remember, never forget. I know I won't.
