The Adams County Sheriff's Office and West Central Illinois Task Force responded to information that Karen Dromey, Kevin Dromey, and Emily Goodwin (all of Quincy) were involved in cannabis drug trafficking and conspiracy. The three were suspected of trafficking large quantities of cannabis from Colorado into Quincy and Northeast Missouri.

Deputies obtained a search warrant for 2208 Jefferson in Quincy and conducted a search during the early morning hours of September 23. Officers discovered approximately a pound and a half of cannabis, edible cannabis, a firearm, and approximately $61,000 in cash.

Interviews led to a search at 1126 S. 18th where deputies seized approximately 5 ounces of cannabis, 11 ounces of cannabis wax, multiple firearms, two vehicles, and approximately $56,000 in cash.

Kevin Goodwin and Emily Goodwin were arrested on Tuesday for Unlawful Calculated Criminal Cannabis Conspiracy and Conspiracy Cannabis Trafficking.
