Now that we are smack dab in the middle of winter, I am sure we are all dreaming of spring and summer and vacations and warmer weather. Well, there are a few places that you will want to avoid visiting because they are considered the worst attractions to visit.

Illinois

Woodstock, Illinois is a town you will want to avoid. Sound familiar? Well, it should, this is where the Bill Murray film "Groundhog Day" was filmed, but that's about all that you will get from this town. Yeah, if you like the movie and want to see the place it was filmed I am sure you will have a ton of fun in Woodstock, but there is nothing else to do in the small town. Fun fact: "Ground Hog Day" was not the only movie film in Woodstock, several scenes of  "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles." This movie is what lead the director Harold Ramis to film "Ground Hog Day" in the town. The movie came out in 1993 so I am sure that the town has changed a little, but it seems that other than the filming of the movie, there's just not much here.

Missouri

I can say that I have been to this worst attraction in Missouri and I would not consider it the worst at all. Ozarkland with several locations throughout the state was named the worst attraction in Missouri by earnspendlive.com. It's for tourists don't get me wrong, but it's a one-stop shop for souvenirs for Route 66, for some reason lots of Elvis memorabilia, and diners. Like the sign says this place is a road trip tradition.
