The Salvation Army will again this year, distribute electric fans to those in need. The program will begin on June 3 and fans will be distributed as they are available in both Quincy and Hannibal.

The Salvation Army will provide a free community Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25th from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The dinner will be held in the gymnasium at the Kroc Center at 405 Vermont Street.
The Quincy Salvation Army will begin taking applications for Christmas Food Baskets and Toy Town today through Friday, November 30th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm each day in the Worship Theater of the Kroc Center. Applicants should bring a photo ID, proof of income, medical card or social security card for children, and proof of address.
The Salvation Army is hiring bell ringers for the upcoming 2012 Christmas campaign season in order to
make sure that all kettle locations are manned consistently throughout the Red Kettle Campaign. The
positions are considered part-time, temporary, and applicants must be available from the “First Day of
Kettles”, November 16th, through December 24th.
It's hard to believe but the Salvation Army's Kroc Center is celebration one year of existence this Saturday and they are doing it with a variety of activities including an open house and auction.
On Saturday, September 22, the Kroc Center in Quincy will hold an open house celebration of their one year anniversary. The entire Kroc Center will be open to the public from 7am till 8pm. During the open house time, the public may use all areas of the Kroc Center free of charge including the fitness equipment and Aquatic Center. Free rock climbing will be available from noon to 5pm.
The Quincy Park Band's concert this Sunday (7/01) featuring Guest Conductor, Jerry Nowak, is being moved to the Kroc Worship Theater at 4th and Vermont.
