Hooray for Hanni-wood?

Believe it or not, someone has made a movie in Hannibal that does not involve Mark Twain and none of the characters wear straw hats.  (Shocker, I know)  The movie is called WaterWalk and yes, parts of it were filmed in Hannibal.  I haven't seen it yet, but that's not unusual.  I don't think I've seen a new movie that hasn't involved Lightning McQueen or Buzz Lightyear in ages thanks to my kids.

One very cool thing about WaterWalk is that it will be premiering in the new movie mecca of Hannibal this week!  B & B Theaters Main Street Cinema 8 will be having a red carpet event this Friday...and they will actually have a red carpet there.

Like I mentioned, I haven't seen WaterWalk...but any movie that (according to the trailer) is based on a "triumphant true story" has to be good, right?!
